His paternal grandparents were Jonathon Moses^ Stradford and Ann Louise^ Johnson; his maternal grandparents are Nm Powell and Janet Pea. He had four brothers and a sister, named John B., Leroy Hugh, William James, Melvin Frederick and Mary Louise. He died at the age of 77 on October 23rd, 1990 in Mount Vernon, WA.General Notes
