Philip Stanhope 
Philip was born before September 1635. Philip's father was Henry Stanhope and his mother was Catherine Wotton. His paternal grandparents were Philip Stanhope and Catherine Hastings; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Wotton and his maternal grandmother is Mary Throckmorton. He was an only child.
