Joan Le+ was born about 1338 in Masham, Yorkshire, England. Joan Le+'s father was Henry Le+ Scrope and her mother is Joan or Agnes+ X. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey Le+ Scrope and Ivetta De+ Ros. She had two brothers and a sister, named Stephen Le, Richard Le and Isabella. She was the oldest of the four children.
