Violante Di was born after 1258. Violante Di's father was Tommaso I Di+ Saluzzo and her mother was Aluigia De+ Ceva. Her paternal grandparents were Manfredo III Di+ Saluzzo and Beatrice I De+ Savoie; her maternal grandfather was Giorgio De+ Ceva and her maternal grandmother is Menzia D'+ Este. She had two brothers and a sister, named Filippo Di, Manfredo IV Di and Alisona Di+. She is the second youngest of the four children.General Notes
