Augusta Von was born on November 30th, 1719 in Gotha. Augusta Von's father was Friedrich II Von Sachsen and her mother was Magdalena Auguste Von Anhalt-Zerbst. Her paternal grandparents were Friedrich I Von Sachsen and Magdalena Sibylla Von Sachsen; her maternal grandparents were Karl Wilhelm Von Anhalt-Zerbst and Sophia Von Sachsen. She had two brothers named Friedrich III Von and Johann August Von. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 52 on February 8th, 1772 in Carlton House, London, England. She was buried in Westminster Abbey, England.-
