George Rushton 
George was born in 1793 in Randolph Co., NC. George's father was William A. Rushton and his mother is Mary Dougherty. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Silas, William, Joshua, Jesse, Estridge, Tracy and Mary. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 73 on August 7th, 1866 in Adams Twp., Hamilton, NC.General Notes
