Francois De La was born on February 14th, 1665. Francois De La's father is Charles Francois De La Rochefoucauld and his mother was Anne Francoise De La Rochefoucauld. His paternal grandparents are Francois De La Rochefoucauld and Anne De Philippier; his maternal grandparents are Benjamin De La Rochefoucauld and Anne De La Villoutreys. He was an only child.
