Her paternal grandfather is Gruffydd Ap+ Rhys and her paternal grandmother was Gwenllian II Verch Gruffydd Of+ Gwynedd; her maternal grandfather was Madog Ap+ Maredydd and her maternal grandmother is Susanna Verch Gruffydd Of+ Gwynedd. She had two brothers and a sister, named Gruffudd Ap+, Rhys Ap+ and Gwenllian Verch+. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died in 1226.General Notes
