Matthew Rankin 
Matthew was born on June 10th, 1816 in Plumcreek Twp., Armstrong Co., PA. Matthew's father was Matthew Rankin and his mother is Mary Elizabeth McCullough. He was an only child. He died at the age of 82 in 1898 in Armstrong Co. CA. He was buried in Atwood Cemetery, Armstrong Co. CA.
