"Sir Simon de Raleigh, of Nettlecombe, and (Winchester) Castle, Glamorganshire, Wales. Died soon after 1301 in which yer he was a knight having custody of all of Glamorganshire. Summoned for military service in Wales 1294 and in Scotland 1296.
