William Poyntz 
William was born about 1535. William's father was John Poyntz and his mother was Margaret Saunders. His paternal grandparents were Robert Poyntz and Margaret Wydeville; his maternal grandfather was Nicholas Saunders and his maternal grandmother is Alice Hungate. He was an only child.
