Francois II De's father was Francois I De Pons and his mother was Marguerite De Coetivy. His paternal grandfather was Guy De Pons and his paternal grandmother is Jeanne De Castelnau; his maternal grandfather is Olivier De Coetivy and his maternal grandmother was Marie De Valois.
