Tamer was born on September 4th, 1802 in Guilford Co., NC.  Tamer's father is Joseph Piggot and her mother is Priscilla Wickersham.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 48 on November 11th, 1850 in Henry Co., IN.

‌Tamer and Nathan were married in a religious ceremony on April 5th, 1827.  They had a son and three daughters, named Nathan, Margaret, Lucinda and Louisa.
