Geslin De was born about 1156. Geslin De's father was Henri I De+ Penthievre and his mother is Mahaut De+ Preuilly. His paternal grandfather was Etienne De+ Penthievre and his paternal grandmother is Hawise De+ Guincamp; his maternal grandfather was Jean I De+ Preuilly and his maternal grandmother is Berthe Du+ Puy-du-Fou. He had two brothers and a sister, named Alain I De, Conan I De+ and Nobilis De+. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died in 1231.-
