Bartolomea was born about 1422. Bartolomea's father is Carlo Orsini and her mother is Paola Orsini. Her paternal grandparents are Giovanni Orsini and Bartolomea Spinelli; her maternal grandfather was Giacomo Orsini and her maternal grandmother is Isabella De Marzano. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Latino, Napoleone, Roberto, Clarice, Costanza and Maddalena. She is the third youngest of the seven children.General Notes
