Messer Norton 
Messer was born in 1750 in NC. Messer's father was Edward Norton and his mother was Elizabeth Brown. His maternal grandfather was William Brown and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Cowgill. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Margaret. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 51 in 1801 in Wayne Co., KY.General Notes
