Varenne De was born about 1345. Varenne De's father was Louis De Neufchatel and her mother was Catherine De Neufchatel. Her paternal grandparents were Rodolphe De Neufchatel and Eleonore De Savoie; her maternal grandfather was Thibault IV De Neufchatel and her maternal grandmother is Agnes Von Geroldseck.
