Ann was born on October 20th, 1812 in Huggate, Yorkshire, England. Ann's father was Crispen Mennell and her mother is Elizabeth Welborn. Her maternal grandparents were William Welborn and Anne Simpson. She was an only child. She died at the age of 62 on February 4th, 1875 in Springville, UT.-
