John Matson 
John was born about 1721 in Chester, PA. John's father was John+ Matson and his mother was Margaret+ X. His paternal grandparents were Nils Matson and Marguerite X. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Peter, Morris, Joseph, Hannah+ and Catherine. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Jacob. He died in 1748 in Easttown, Chester, PA. He was buried in Phoenixville, Chester PA.General Notes
