Volrad III Von was born about 1438. Volrad III Von's father was Volrad II Von Mansfeld and his mother was Margareta Von Schlesien-Sagan. His paternal grandparents were Gebhard IV Von Mansfeld and Elizabeth Von Kafernburg; his maternal grandparents were Johann I Von Schlesien-Sagan and Scholastika Von Sachsen-Wittenberg. He had two sisters named Mathilde Von and Margareta Von. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on November 28th, 1499.General Notes
