Karl I Von was born on March 17th, 1499. Karl I Von's father was Gottfried II Von Limpurg-Speckfeld and his mother was Margareta Schlick-Passaun. His paternal grandparents were Georg II Von Limpurg-Speckfeld and Margareta Von Hohenberg. He had a brother named Erasmus I Von. He was the older of the two children.
