Georg I Von was born on April 23rd, 1533. Georg I Von's father was Kuno II Von Leiningen-Westerburg and his mother was Maria Margareta Zu Stolberg-Wernigerode. His paternal grandparents were Reinhard IV Von Westerburg and Zymeria Von Sayn; his maternal grandparents were Bodo III Zu Stolberg and Anna Von Eppenstein. He had a brother named Philipp I Von. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 52 on April 9th, 1586.General Notes
