Rene was born in 1618 in La Chaussee, Mortagne-Au-Perche/Poitou, France. Rene's father was Jean Claude Landry and his mother is Nm1 X. His paternal grandparents are Claude Landry and Jeanne Dugas. He had two sisters named Perrine and Antoinette. He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Rene. He died before 1686 in Port Royal, Acadia, Canada.General Notes
