Simon De was born before February 1334. Simon De's father was Simon De Lalaing and his mother was Mahaut D' Aspremont. His maternal grandparents were Joffroi D' Aspremont and Isabelle De Quievrain. He had a brother named Nicolas III De. He was the younger of the two children. He died on September 13th, 1386.General Notes
