Alexios Komnenos 
Alexios was born in 1283. Alexios' father was Ioannes II Megas Komnenos and his mother was Eudokia Palaiologina. His paternal grandparents were Manuel I Komnenos and Eirene Syrikaina; his maternal grandparents were Michael VIII Palaiologos and Theodora Vatatzaina. He was an only child. He died at the age of 47 on May 3rd, 1330.General Notes
