Robert was born about 1418. Robert's father was William+ Keith and his mother was Mary+ Hamilton. His paternal grandfather was Robert+ Keith and his paternal grandmother is Urquhart Of+ Troup; his maternal grandfather was John+ Hamilton and his maternal grandmother is Jacoba+ Douglas. He had a brother and a sister, named William+ and Egidia+. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in 1446.General Notes
