John+ was born before July 9th, 1425 in Tendring, Essex, England. John+'s father was Robert+ Howard and his mother was Margaret De+ Mowbray. His paternal grandparents were John+ Howard and Alice+ Tendring; his maternal grandparents were Thomas De+ Mowbray and Elizabeth+ Fitzalan. He had a sister named Catherine+. He was the younger of the two children. He died due to Killed. on August 22nd, 1485 in Battle of Bosworth Field, Leicestershire, England. John Howard (1430-1485) was present at the battle of Chaltillon in 1453. He entered into service of his relative, John Mowbray, duke of Norfolk; knight of the shire for Norfolk, 1455, and Suffolk 1466. He was named sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk by Edward IV.
John served against Lancastrians and in Brittainy. He was an enjoy to France and Flanders; created Baron Howard by the restored Henry VI, 1470.
He was admiral of England, Ireland, and Aquitaine in 1483 and commanded a vangard at Bosworth, where he was slain (executed) in 1485.
