John+ was born in 1277 in Rotherfield Greys Castle, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England. John+'s father was Robert+ Grey and his mother was Joan De+ Valoines. His paternal grandparents were Walter+ Grey and Isabel De+ Duston; his maternal grandfather was Thomas De+ Valoines. He was an only child. He died at the age of 34 on October 17th, 1311.General Notes
