Ralph was born about 1498 in Middle Claydon, Begbroke, Oxfordshire, England. Ralph's father was Roger Giffard and his mother was Mary Nanseglos. His paternal grandfather was John+ Giffard and his paternal grandmother is Agnes+ Winslow. He was an only child. He died after 1558.General Notes
