Rene Mans De was born on October 9th, 1736. Rene Mans De's father was Rene Mans De Froulay and his mother was Marie Charlotte De Bethune. His paternal grandparents were Rene Mans De Froulay and Elizabeth De Lessart; his maternal grandparents were Paul Francois De Bethune and Julie Gorges. He was an only child.
