His paternal grandfather was Konrad I Von+ Freiburg and his paternal grandmother is Sophie Von+ Hohenzollern; his maternal grandparents were Ludwig I Von+ Lichtenberg and Adelheid Von+ Ettendorf. He had two sisters named Elizabeth Von and Sophie Von+. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on July 10th, 1350.General Notes
