Dorotea was born about 1490. Dorotea's father is Bernardo Frangipane and her mother is Luisa Marzano D' Aragon. Her paternal grandparents were Stefano Frangipane and Isotta D' Este; her maternal grandfather was Mariano Marzano and her maternal grandmother is Leonor D' Aragon. She had a brother and a sister, named Ferdinando and Isotta. She is the second oldest of the three children.General Notes
