Albrecht Christoph Zu was born on September 23rd, 1698 in Berlin, Germany. Albrecht Christoph Zu's father was Alexander Zu Dohna-Schlobitten and his mother was Amalie Louise Zu Dohna-Carwinden. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich Zu Dohna-Schlobitten and Esperance Du Puy De Montbrun-Ferrassieres; his maternal grandparents were Christoph Delphicus Zu Dohna-Schlobitten and Anna Oxensierna Korsholm-Wasa.
