Diane De was born in October 1552. Diane De's father was Louis De Dammartin and her mother was Philippe De La Mark. Her paternal grandparents were Guillaume De Dammartin and Anne De Neufchatel; her maternal grandparents were Jean De La Mark and Helene De Bissipat. She was an only child.
