Enguerrand De was born about 1170. Enguerrand De's father was Robert De Courcy and his mother is Beatrix De Saint Pol. His paternal grandfather was Thomas I De+ Courcy and his paternal grandmother is Melisende De+ Montlhery-Rochefort; his maternal grandfather was Hugues III De+ Saint Pol and his maternal grandmother is Marguerite De Clermont.
