Elizabeth was born in 1692 in Acadia/ Nova Scotia, Canada. Elizabeth's father was Pierre Jean Comeau and her mother is Marie Jeanne Bourg. Her paternal grandparents were Pierre Etienne Comeau and Rose Bayols; her maternal grandparents were Antoine Bourg and Antoinette Landry. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Jean, Abraham, Joseph, Ambroise, Angelique, Anne, Magdeleine, Marguerite and Marie Francoise. She is the youngest of the ten children.
