Jules De was born on April 7th, 1720. Jules De's father was Gaspard De Clermont-Tonnerre and his mother was Antoinette Potier. His paternal grandfather was Charles Henri III De Clermont-Tonnerre and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Massol; his maternal grandparents were Louis Anne Jules Potier and Antoinette Le Comte. He was an only child. He died at the age of 74 on July 26th, 1794.General Notes
