Sarah and Charles were married in a religious ceremony on May 14th, 1842. They had three sons and six daughters, named Charles Daniel, Alfred, Simon Christman, Sarah Amanda, Mary Ann, Charity, Isabella, Margaret Elizabeth and Eliza Ann.

Sarah Amanda was born on February 7th, 1843 in Lehigh Co., PA. She died at the age of 43 on August 7th, 1886.
Isabella Troxell
Isabella was born on June 8th, 1857 in Lehigh Co., PA. She died at the age of 46 on August 29th, 1903.
