Geoffroy VIII De was born in 1314. Geoffroy VIII De's father was Geoffroy VII De Chateaubriand and his mother was Jeanne De Belleville-Montagu. His paternal grandparents were Geoffroy VI De+ Chateaubriand and Jeanne De+ Machecoul; his maternal grandfather was Maurice IV De Belleville-Montagu and his maternal grandmother is Letice De Parthenay. He had a sister named Louise De. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Olivier V De and Isabeau De. He died due to killed. at the age of 33 on June 20th, 1347 in La Roche Derrien (without issue).General Notes
