Nicolas De was born about 1526. Nicolas De's father was Baudoin De Champagne and his mother was Jeanne De La Chapelle-Rainsouin. His paternal grandparents were Brandelis De Champagne and Charlotte De Bar-Baugy; his maternal grandparents are Olivier De La Chapelle-Rainsouin and Arethuse De Melun. He had a sister named Charlotte De. He was the older of the two children. He died on February 12th, 1567 in Battle of St. Denis.General Notes
