Oliver+ was born about 1278 in Trenowyth, Cornwall, England. Oliver+'s father is Roger+ Carminow and his mother is Johanna+ Dinham. His paternal grandparents are Roger+ Carminow and Sarah+ Hornacote; his maternal grandfather was Geoffrey+ Dinham. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Minanus, Richard, Reginald, Roger, Thomas, Walter, John+, Joan+, Beatrice, Margaret and Matilda+. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
