Sebastiano was born about 1603. Sebastiano's father was Francesco Buonaparte and his mother was Camilla Cattaciolo. His paternal grandfather was Geronimo Buonaparte and his paternal grandmother is Pellegrina Calvari. He had a sister named Maria Rochetta. He was the younger of the two children.
