Maria Jose De was born on March 19th, 1857. Maria Jose De's father was Miguel I De Braganza and her mother was Adelheid Zu Lowenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. Her paternal grandparents were Joao VI De Braganza and Charlota Joaquina De Borbon. She was an only child. She died at the age of 85 on March 11th, 1943.General Notes
