Henrich IX Van was born about 1357. Henrich IX Van's father was Hendrik VIII Van Boutershem and his mother is Beatrix Van Polanen. His maternal grandfather was Jan II Van Polanen and his maternal grandmother is Mechtilde De Brabant. He had a sister named Oda Van. He was the older of the two children.
