Friedrich II Von's father was Gerhard V Von Blankenheim and his mother was Ermesinde De Luxembourg. His paternal grandparents were Friedrich I Von Blankenheim and Mechtild Von Bliescastel; his maternal grandparents were Gerard De Luxembourg and Mechtild Von Kleve. He had two sisters named Mathilde von and Katharina Von. He died in 1321.General Notes
