Hans Willem was born on July 20th, 1649 in Deventer, Overjisel, Netherlands. Hans Willem's father was Berent Bentinck and his mother was Anna Van Bloemendael. His paternal grandparents were Hendrik Bentinck and Elsebe Van Ittersum. He was an only child. He died at the age of 60 on November 23rd, 1709 in Bulstrode Park, Buckingham, England.
