John Basset 
John was born about 1421. John's father was John Basset and his mother is Johanna Beaumont. His paternal grandfather was William+ Basset and his paternal grandmother is Margaret+ Fleming; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Beaumont and Phillipa X. He was an only child.
