Aliva+ was born about 1165 in Bolington, Oxfordshire, England. Aliva+'s father was Thomas+ Basset and her mother is Adeliza De+ Dunstanville. Her paternal grandfather was Gilbert+ Basset and her paternal grandmother is Edith D'+ Oyley; her maternal grandfather was Alan De+ Dunstanville and her maternal grandmother is Isabel+ X. She had two brothers and a sister, named Alan+, Thomas+ and Isabella+. She was the youngest of the four children. She died about 1263.General Notes
