Richard was born on May 4th, 1654 in Middleton, Lancashire, England. Richard's father was Ralph Ashton and his mother was Anne Ashton. His paternal grandparents were Ralph Ashton and Elizabeth Kaye. He was an only child. He died at the age of 51 in September 1705.General Notes
