Rupen III of was born in 1145. Rupen III of's father was Stephane Of Armenia and his mother was Rita De Barba'ron. His paternal grandfather was Leo I Of Armenia and his paternal grandmother is Beatrice De Rethel. He had a brother named Leo II Of. He was the older of the two children.
